The District Court Clerk’s offices in Asheville, Charlotte, and Statesville will be closed on Monday, February 2, 2026, because of inclement weather. All court hearings scheduled for that day have been cancelled and will be rescheduled.
According to the announcement, “On Tuesday, February 3rd the Clerk’s office in all locations will open at 10:30 am. Court hearings will start at 11:00 am.”
The court advises those affected by the closure to await further information regarding new hearing dates.
