Three Mexican nationals have been sentenced for illegally reentering the United States after being deported. The individuals, who had prior convictions for multiple criminal offenses, were charged and sentenced in federal court.

The announcement was made by Daniel P. Bubar, Acting U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of North Carolina, following sentencing by U.S. District Judge Louise W. Flanagan. The cases were investigated by ICE and prosecuted by the National Security Section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
